As you get older you lose natural color in your face, your lashes thin out, etc. Things you could get away with when you were 20 just make you look tired now. This doesn’t mean you have to do full-on war paint, but you should get in the habit of accentuating the positive. Makeup lines like Bobbi Brown sell lots of no-makeup makeup products that can give you ideas.
Thanks! I'll check out the Bobbi Brown products. One of the reasons I don't wear makeup is b/c I'm afraid of putting too much chemicals on my skin. But I guess some products are better than others.
+1 there are lot of products out there that add a bit of something but don't feel like makeup. i use the Jones Road miracle balm (also a Bobbi Brown product). I also dont wear much makeup, but do a swipe of mascara and a tiny bit of that miracle balm on my cheeks and eyelids makes a HUGE difference, takes two seconds and doesn't feel like chemicals on my skin. people are much nicer to me when I've done just that vs. nothing (im 40).
