I just saw that the CDC approved Covid booster shots for pregnant women that received their second vaccine dose at least 6 months ago. I’m 6 months out from my prior shot and due in 5 weeks. I am leaning towards getting a booster to better protect me and the baby but haven’t completely decided. I’m curious, what are others doing?
I’m definitely doing this. FYI, I’d get it ASAP if you want antibodies for the baby. Some studies have shown it takes up to 14-16 days after the shot for the antibodies to show up for baby, so you’d want to get it aa soon as you can before you deliver.
