The meeting didn't clarify this.[/quote] My kid went through the process last year, and they didn’t include “external assessment” in the language, only something like “school-based assessments,” meaning tests like MAP and PARCC that everyone takes in school. I think it’s safe to assume “external assessment” means cogat or similar. [/quote]
