I just finished putting 3 across in a Leaf, which I'm pretty sure is as narrow or narrower than an Accord. I used csftl.org as my main research place. The hardest part for us was the booster seat. I would be wary of using a Radian as a booster seat, depending on how tall your kid is now. Apparently a lot of kids outgrow them before they can really be used as booster seats. My 4.5 yo daughter is already near the limit. Otherwise, you could use two Radians for your other children. We ended up with a Radian for our middle child. We got a Clek Foonf for the baby because apparently sometimes the Radian angle makes it not a proper fit for infants, and I just wanted to avoid that. The booster seat we ended up with was a Clek Oobr. My daughter will have to climb in and out of it buckled. There are videos for how to do this on I think carseatlady.org or something. We were going to get a Maxi Cosi Rodifix for her, but you need to have a headrest behind it, and it wasn't compatible with our headrest. THe headrest pushed the booster seat too far forward. If the Oobr didn't fit, we were going to try a RideSafer vest. So, you could try that for your booster seat child. Or is your booster seat child maybe big enough for a backless booster?
People outgrow the Radian? It is rated for 120 pounds and 57 inches. My 7 year old isnt even that tall. Your 4.5 year old is that tall? I am asking because we are about to invest in new seats (middle child's seat is about to expire since hand me down from older) and baby is just about a year and will be out of baby bucket. Will be buying 4 seats. Was all set for diono radian qx. How are people outgrowing? Or do you have the RXT without the movable headrest?
DP- mine outgrew the Radian because the torso length is too long. My kids have more height hips to shoulder then at the leg.
