I have a friend who tried to do it herself and while I thought she looked beautiful, in stripping the color from her naturally dark brunette hair (she had about a 3 inch gray stripe at the roots) she ended up with more of an orange tone which she referred to as clown hair. Again, she was the one bashing but she was the one who needed to like it and she didn't.[/quote]
