I used to believe in heaven, because I wanted to go there to live eternally. But the more I thought about it, the less sense it made. Would I be with my first or subsequent spouses - or somehow all of them? Would I see my grandmother again and if we were both old people, what would our relationship be like? What about meeting my great grandparents whom I never knew? What would we do all day, for eternity, besides praising God? Now it obvious that what happens to humans after death is the same thing that happens to all living things - we go back to the earth. We die and that's it.
How is that "obvious?" The questions you ask are common, but also simplistic. What awaits us in Heaven (or Hell) is beyond anything that we can comprehend now, and beyond any relationship experience on earth. We will all be reunited as one with God, our Creator. It's not an issue of what we will do "all day," because there are not "days" in eternity.
