Ugh, you people lost your recall against Tholen and didn’t learn a lesson. Speak and write your opposition to elected officials. Preferably with civility. Campaign for the other candidate and vote against the person you don’t like. Don’t keep trying to overthrow elections.
Yeah, no. Descano was elected only because he had a “D” after his name, and Soros literally poured millions of $$ into the Descano campaign. Knee-jerk democrat voters never bothered to look into what policies Descano actually supported, and what it would mean to vote for the Candidate from Soros. Now people are dying. Victims are literally being killed by the people who Descano refuses to jail; he is literally putting career criminals and violent felons right back on the streets after arrest - with the predictable result that they commit even more crimes. This is not difficult to understand. And it’s what’s happening here in our own county. So - while people are being killed PP, you advocate just waiting around until next election, when the incumbent almost always has an advantage?? No thanks. Recall radical Descano. He is not fit to hold his office and is a danger to our community.
A prosecutor can ask for someone to be held no bond or set bail high, but the judge is the one who determines it. And people aren't held no bond on every charge, simply for the practical reason that jails do not have the capacity to hold every person arrested indefinitely (given it's also been hard to hold jury trials given the whole COVID thing). The idea that it's the prosecutor's fault when people who are arrested are released after their bond hearing is ridiculous.
