We want to go visit vaccinated grandparents in Delaware before school starts. We drive, stay in their house, and don’t eat out or do anything risky. We can’t do this. But we could go to kings dominion and eat indoors with hundreds of other people and show up at daycare the next day. That’s why DOH put wiggle room in the guidelines. I think daycare can ask that parents use judgment, but it’s brutal to say you can eat maskless indoors and stay in a hotel in Virginia Beach but don’t get in the car and stay at grandmas for a weekend.
