Why not rework the petition to request 1) lowering the bar for entrance to DCPS virtual academy (maybe physicians can sign off on virtual based on either the child's health or the health of a family member in the same house) and 2) extending the deadline for choosing virtual. Get specific with what you mean by "virtual option" and why the current virtual options aren't working for some families.[/quote]
