Those of you who hate Trump don't realize the myriad of VISCOUS, VIOLENT, BIGOTRY that happens at UVa was completely discredited and acquitted until that march brought it to light.  That's normal there.  Yes, the department was weak and so I studied after graduation which has been much more pertinent to my career, but I remember the scarring, abuse, and blatant discrimination reenforced by the deans well.  Our valedictorian flopped the GRE and didn't amount to anything, and the top scorers in blind tests (SATs, GRE) etc caught up after three years but were clearly set back.[/quote]
