All I remember about Richmond is the abundance of confederate flags. Tells me everything I need to know about it. No thanks!
When we were househunting in NoVA last summer, we ran across a house where the neighbor had a bigass Confederate flag hanging on the front of his house. I don't think that was helping this house to sell AT ALL. We wound up buying in the same neighborhood, but nowhere near rude Conferate flag dude (we know he was rude because he came outside and started yelling at us for parking near his house for the 5 minutes we were inside the house with our realtor) Since Richmond was the Confederate capital, it doesn't surprise me. I definitely agree that anyone who flys a Confederate flag proudly is not someone I really want to know, but it does at least make a small bit of sense in Richmond.
