I am also considering hiring an essay consultant for my kid. I did with my older one and let me tell you, they didn’t write a thing. They helped brainstorm ideas, gave the kid deadlines for drafts and revisions, pointed out a few parts where corrections were needed because the essay lost focus or bad grammar or whatever and had the kid revise and revise until it was complete. It was like a 1:1 HS English teacher, and not at all someone writing for them. I just need someone else to be the one fussing at my kid about getting their essay done instead of me. [/quote]
