You would have hated my grandmother's house. A beautiful modern sprawling mid-century ranch she and my grandfather built in the 1950s with floor to ceiling windows, cathedral ceilings, modernist clean lines, all light and airy, and filled with expensive antiques mixed up with modern pieces. Real Tiffany lamps are gorgeous and wonderful craftsmanship. Certainly not for everyone but to pretend that they have no place in today's world is just silliness. [/quote]
