For a variety of reasons, but not the least of which has been the backlash against them this past year. It makes me concerned, because income inequality is criminogenic. So the folks who will suffer more from crime increases are those who are already under economic stressors -- and statistically that means people of color will suffer more from crime increases. It's an ugly cycle. [/quote]
