he more I drove it around, the more it felt like the engine was trying to rev up- like it never stopped trying to get to the next gear.  I put the sport mode on which to be honest, wasn't that impressive.

For comparison purposes, I drove the Volvo VC60 a few weeks ago and despite having a 4 cylinder engine (though they do say its a "turbo" engine)  it was remarkably quicker and much more nimble than the RX 350. I think the RX is bigger overall and heavier than the Volvo, so perhaps that has something to do with it.

I've always liked Lexus - it has great reliability ratings, and have always felt I would get one sooner or later, but I just dont see how I could go with the RX when it feels so slow. Maybe I need to give it another shot.

I was wondering if anyone drives one of these and notices the same thing? What do you like or dislike about this car?[/quote]
