I had one kid at an AAP center school, and one kid in JI at Fox Mill, and pandemic-wise, Fox Mill absolutely blew the other school out of the water. FM provided quarterly packets of manipulatives and worksheets and so on(*), and seemed really on the ball as far as parent communication. AAP center provided nothing -- everything was done online, other than maybe art --  and said little.

That was me! we did not get a ton of packets but DS Teachers were awesome and on top of everything. He had a very good year and loved his Teachers.

Fox Mill is adding Local Level IV next year so Third Graders will have a Local Level IV option and will not have to go to Oak Hill if they want to participate in Level IV. Bonus that the the school said they were committed to having the JI kids participate in Level IV as well but I am not sure how they are going to do that.

We love Fox Mill. I will point out that there is going to be construction at the school for the next few years so more kids are going to be in trailers.  [/quote]
