It looks like the schools are well regarded (at least going by Great Schools rankings which I know don't mean a ton) and I just like the housing styles and sizes a lot more than what we've been finding in Columbia, Odenton, or Gambrills.

What's the area like? I know it's more rural, obviously. But is it conservative like southern MD? We want to stay away from that. How diverse? Any good neighborhoods? We'll obviously go out and spend time there before we put in any offers, but I'm just trying to get a feel for the area since I haven't spent much time there.[/quote]
