[/quote] She is a tiny Houdini. Thanks everyone. I have been so focused on whether I'm parenting wrong, I hadn't thought about doing something to improve the restraints. I just found a clip thing on Amazon that should help tighten the straps further up on her chest like a car seat (which she hasn't managed to climb out of yet), so I think I'm going to order that. I welcome any other product recommendations, though. And she does have a little leash backpack we haven't used in awhile.
