Hi- Greenfield Village and Henry Ford museum in Dearborn are fantastic. The Detroit historical society is great. And the Detroit institute of arts is one of the 5 largest US collections. I haven’t looked bed there for decades, some park groups knowledge is not great, but I do remember hotel parking being very pricy when I went for a friends bachelorette party. I parked a bit further away and used the people mover to get to the hotel. But the hotel parking might be more secure. Enjoy your trip
Second this recommendation. Nothing quite like these anywhere. And since you will be in Dearborn, go get some of the best Arabic food outside of the Middle East. My recs would be New Yasmin Bakery- I actually prefer their hot foods over their bakery items. Best shwarma, meat and spinach pies, order at the counter which makes it easy with kids. Shatilia bakery is where to go for baklava and baked goods.
