And just as an aside or personal story I have one kid now in HS. In 2nd his NNAT was completely average 50th percentile. In 5th grade he was 99th in the math side and was then identified for math.  My daughter now in MS was 50th on the COGAT and also has a score exactly in the 50th, and I already had private scores from her with individual WISC testing that showed a number of areas over 120 and a GAI of 121 (low processing). She didn’t qualify this year.
Oh well.
