We have a Bosch and are happy with it. The one thing I dislike is that if the panel on the cooktop gets wet, which will happen if something boils over, the whole cooktop turns off. And it won't turn on again until it's dry. I wanted a range without dials because it's easier to clean and the look is sleeker. But this is the downside.
Is that an issue with your particular cooktop? Or is that how all induction cooktops work?
Mine doesn’t do that and water boils over all the time because ours has a quick boil setting, which is great b/c it boils a pot of water in about 2 minutes, but if you don’t turn it down a little after adding pasta or whatever, it boils over. A lot. The downside to mine is that you can only use certain size pots on specific burners - there’s one for very large, medium and 2 small and it can be a pain at times. But I don’t think the newer ones have this issue.
