Let me guess, you have criticized all the volunteer coaches your kids have ever had too but never stepped up yourself. Same with your paid coaches. [/quote] That, and educating parents and coaches. I have to admit I had the occasional dissent as a coach — nothing card-worthy but still things that I regret. I think one reason I became a ref was to do some penance. I’ll try to leave the center circle tomorrow. (Actually, I keep a relatively light schedule so that I can run with the action.)[/quote]
