In my first marriage, I was the partner from the LMC family and I was so much more financially responsible than my now Ex. We’ve been divorced nearly 17 years and he still struggles. The grandparents left the grandkids money directly in control of the parents except for him. Our DC’s money is administered through a trust because they know he would squander it, but he was the one who grew up in a well-off family. [/quote]
