I couldn't believe, when I was in private practice, how many people call AFTER signing a contract that may or may not have issues ... the time to call your lawyer is before you sign anything. Once you have, at least in NoVa, it's a waste of money in my experience since lawyers don't conduct most RE closings (unlike northern NJ where I practiced for some time).[/quote]
