Title 1 schools need PTO is raise money, buy supplies, and get resources for the school. That’s the greatest need for the kids not community building. Even at non-title 1 wealthier schools in this city, sure there’s community building events, but you are deluding yourself if you don’t think they are PTO powerhouses that raise money to provide resources that directly benefit the kids.
