DS' HS coach won't tolerate a missed practice[b], even for a graded school event that takes place after 3pm (hence you missed HS soccer practice). [/b] Miss a practice for ANY reason?  You sit out the next game and MUST be on the bench for said punishment game.  Doesn't matter if you were skipping practice to go on a date, grandma died or you had a graded music concert you had to perform in.  When a HS has 100 kids try out and stack the roster with 25, they can be absolute like this.  SO some High School soccer coaches are militant about missing practice.  The clubs we have been with understand and have asked the boys to attend at least one club practice a week in order to participate in the weekend games.  HS Practice 3-5pm, club practice starts at 7 or 8pm...[/quote]

I would take that up with the principal, and if that doesn't work the regional superintendent. It seems like a good way for a coach to get themselves fired [/quote]
