I hate tryouts. My kids have always had a very high tactical awareness and in tryouts none of that matters...even in the older years. If you kid passes and knows where to run/get open, and plays a smart style they will be over shadowed by the hyper chickens with their heads cut off plowing into everyone and dribbling it into the ground. If they get out wide and wait for the pass—it will never come and if they “give”, they will never get the return “go” pass. My advice tell them to go hard and be possessive. [/quote]
