My DD is currently with Chesapeake. It is expensive but my insurance reimburses at 80% after we meet the deductible. It's worth it for us to have her psychologist and psychiatrist in the same location. It's been great that they talk and communicate with each other for the best treatment plan. Our psychiatrist has also been conservative and suggests a lot of non-medical interventions which I appreciate. I'd recommend them if you have good insurance!
Thank you - can you pls share who you meet there? Are the non medical interventions supplements, CBT- things like that? Thank you!
Our psychiatrist is Dr. Gathi Abraham, unfortunately, he's moving overseas for a research opportunity and leaving the practice. He's been amazing and really helpful with non-medical interventions like a breathwork technique called Sky Breathing which research has shown is good for anxiety: https://event.us.artofliving.org/us-en/research/. We haven't done the class yet but have registered for next week for one of their kid's courses: https://skyschools.org/kids-teens/. We also see Dr. Greenstone who is fantastic and really great at connecting with my child with ADHD.
