We saw Dr. Morse. He never discussed nutritional supplements. He also wanted to tweak the med and saw DC every week or other week for a while. We could not afford that. Moved on.
Another Morse family here, and I could not recommend him more highly. He was the best mental health medical provider our family has encountered (and we’ve seen a lot...). Extremely thoughtful and deliberate, creative with solutions while at the same time sufficiently conservative so you don’t feel like he’s just needlessly medicating your kid. He worked closely with DC’s other medical providers for a really comprehensive and integrated approach, which we also liked. Genuine, caring bedside manner. Chesapeake is, however, very expensive. No getting around that. Hopefully your insurance covers at least a good portion (their staff is really competent and helpful with the admin aspects of that). Morse did not do nutrition (he’s not a nutritionist), but he did raise it as part of DC’s treatment plan.
