The difference between 1 or 2 and 3 or 4 is huge. It's easily as as big as the difference between a 6 month old who isn't crawling and a 12 month old whose running. Or a 21 year old who is still in college, and 42 year old me with a teenager and younger kids too. I have no idea if you're being overprotective, but things will get better. [/quote]
