I am the OP of the other thread about doubling an activity table as a coffee table in our condo.... here is the link for the table from Land of Nod:

Anyway, my living room has dark wood floor and dark wood furniture and the espresso coffee table would match it, however, it can only work as an coffee table while it has the small legs and its height is 15". Once I change the legs and my toddler grows and it becomes a desk, I can no longer use it as a coffee table and would have to put it in her bedroom.

Here is the thing though, I am planning on getting her a "white furniture" bedroom set once she leaves the crib next year, and I am not sure an espresso desk would fit nicely there in the future. The advantage of this table is that it can work as desk later on and my daughter can have it for life, so I do have to think about how I will use it in the future as well too.

Which color to get?
