I clip out of that leg, then shift my body to the other side of the bike (like I'm getting off the bike), extend that leg straight and put all my weigh on it and clip out on that side. Also, twist your toe in toward the bike frame, heel away from the bike frame to actually unclip. Don't pull up and out on the shoe. And make sure the shoes are attached well to your feet and not too loose. That said, you may already be doing all of that. I had a pair of those strap things that clip in (so that you can wear regular shoes on the bike) and couldn't get them off except by using my hands. [/quote]
