I hope to turn it into a free crowdsourced app people can use to navigate their walks. My own motivation is a recent attack on my dogs during a walk where a dog was able to breach its fence and leave the property to come at us and latch on to my dog. If I had known that this type of dog was there (as other neighbors seemed to know) I would not have had this block on my route. With DC being such a transient city and so many of us moving during the pandemic and not having the opportunity to speak to our neighbors about such information, I think this will be an invaluable tool.
