The Sophomore Application process will remain a part of the admissions process. The testing component for Sophomores has been removed based on School Board vote at the meeting in October (eliminating the requirement of a PSAT/SAT). If the School Board opts to utilize a holistic approach, no other changes would be required for the Sophomore Round. Does anyone know WHY the admissions office told the school board one thing and then turned around and NOW is implementing the opposite???

TJ is NOT planning for 100 additional sophomores.  They are requiring teacher recommendations.  They are (after this year) requiring an SAT/PSAT score.

Why are they not following their own policies?

The class of 2024 is currently profoundly broken. Why not actually follow the new policies and improve the rising sophomore class???[/quote]
