DE is dual enrollment (community college classes). The GPA was at time of application (so after Jr year). DE courses don't get weighted. Normal ECs. Friends with similar stats had similar admission results. Got 5k per year merit awards at schools other than Maryland. [/quote] Sorry - I forgot to say public school. I do wonder if schools recalculate GPAs in a way that comes out better for non-MCPSS students, because based on this forum, I was worried about my son's stats when we were applying. Honors courses get .5 bump, not the full point that MCPSS gets, DE get no bump.[/quote]
