I visited Hunter Mill and did not like it. Really old facilities, tiny rooms, and off-putting teachers for the 2yo classes.
And the playground wasn’t that great either.
My child went to Hunter Mill until two years ago. The playground space is actually very nice, and there is a ton of grassy space and even a creek down below the school that the children go to. There is also a “barn” with playground equipment that they go to when it rains, so they always always get outdoor time with fresh air. That was big for us. It’s true, the facilities are old. It’s not a place for parents who want the newest, fanciest classrooms. The teachers are hit or miss, we had some great ones and some not so great ones. But I did really appreciate the truly play-based approach and the amazing outdoor space.
BUMP. Any recent experiences?, I'm considering them for summer camp.
