Other than Idylwood and Magarity Pimmit Hills is a pretty large area that doesn’t seem to have significant cut through traffic. However, it doesn’t really seem there are lots of kids playing outside. Maybe it is just that way when I have occasion to drive around. Has that been your experience as well? Has the character or friendliness of neighbors changed over the past 20 years? I know McMansions were not really prevalent in 2000.
I haven't lived in Pimmit Hills as long, most of the families I know either have kids under 5 or in high school, so you only see them out for walks with their parents or playing at the parks (the high schoolers all seem to hang out in their basement.) We live on one of the dead end streets, and kids will ride around on their bikes/scooters, since there isn't much traffic.
Hi, neighbor. I'm OP. Many of us with original Pimmit homes don't have basements. Our older teens hung out in the backyard around a fire pit. They also loved to congregate at Jason's Deli, pre-pandemic. As young teens and tweens, they rode bikes to the basketball courts by the library.
