I was just about to make the same suggestion. While there are plenty of sororities and fraternities, the student body is so large that the social scene doesn't revolve around the Greek system. Plenty of us were "independents" and it wasn't a big deal. There are so many students that it's easy to find your people. That said, it is a big sports school but it sounds like your child is interested in sports. [/quote]
