If you have red hair but its kind of faded (which inevitably happens as you age, usually) or if it's naturally very orange and you want a more auburn color, you do what everyone else does and enhance it. I don't know why, but people are obsessed with this idea of the "natural redhead", I guess because it's somewhat unusual. But it's funny because I'm a "natural redhead" who also dyes my hair red and people are so confused by it even though I know lots of natural blondes and brunettes who also dye or at least highlight their hair.
