And it began decades ago when players began eschewing D1 recruitment and spots in-state in Virginia because they were burnt out even though they ended up going to the schools to which they were recruited. Probably much worse burn-out for HS seniors who realize they'll never again -- I can see why they could tire of it. Life's short.[/quote]
