Also there is a zipper flap at the bottom so your child can crawl in and out, which is easier on your back.[/quote] I love the lotus but do not think it is worth buying for just this purpose, especially when you already have a pack n play. I've used both and I honestly don't think most kids care that much. I mostly like the lotus for that zippered flap at the bottom because it was easier for me when the baby was bigger. I would just let him sleep in the pack n play but if he seems uncomfortable buy the mattress. The month will go by faster than you think and I'd want to minimize how much extra stuff I buy for it.[/quote]
