This isn’t something new, OP.[/quote] I am old school I guess, I remember back in Hamilton Elementary School in the early 90s there was a student that never stood and the 5th grade teacher told him that he has to stand, he doesn't have to recite it, but he needs to stand as of respect, I guess its different now. I grew up that we need to stand and recite the National Anthem and the Pledge even while we are at home. [/quote] That's totally fine if those are your values for you and your children.
