The issue is she is very involved with her daughter (my SIL)'s kids and life; SIL's kids go to school and are actually in quarantine now due to a COVID exposure. MIL and SIL see each other all the time. I would like to ask her to not see them for a week prior to coming to see us. SIL is already very defensive about our COVID choices and tends to sound off. I don't want to cause a rift. But I do want to see my MIL safely.

How can we go about broaching this and ensuring we all feel comfortable?? Thanks[/quote]
