So I'm 31, had my HSG done in June, and have been TTC since March. I'm still not pregnant. I've seen an RE for an investigative cycle and everything seems fine overall and my husbands sperm is apparently on the extra high side. The only issue that was picked up was my thyroid was at 3.3 which was picked up about a month ago and I've been on levothyroxine for that since. Could that be the hold up in conceiving? After reading the thread below on women conceiving so soon after having an HSG I amnow worrying that this could signal an issue. I'm all sorts of vitamins, did accupunture for one cycle, am working on, and am generally in good health. I did concieve my first child 4 years ago with no issues on the first cycle. The only thing that has happened since is my appendix ruptured adn I'm concerned there is scar tissue. I'm weary about having laproscopic surgery until I've tried for at least a year. I know some might think I haven't even tried for a year so why am I worried. But the truth is, I am worried b/c we've timed sex perfectly. I've been tracking my BBT, and my RE confirmed that the day I ovulate which is inline with what I have been tracking. So why the heck isn't conception happening unless I have scar tissue that needs to be removed.....thoughts? Did anyone conceive well after the HSG?
