OP here. I haven't paid attention to the Fitbit craze, tell me about it! I understand there is a range of products - which one might be best suited for me (keeping track of exercise and calories)?
Fitbit is awesome. I have the Charge 2, but they already have a version 4 of it. I absolutely love it. It logs your steps and heart rate automatically and you can record your workouts too. I first bought it when I was using the baby weight and found it very useful as it provides you with an estimate of your calorie burn which was a good starting point for me to determine my calorie intake. It is not exact but it worked pretty well for me. It was also pretty eye opening to see that I actually burn more calories on days when I walk a lot and am generally active compared to days during which I do one hard workout but sit on my butt otherwise. Worth the investment for me for sure.
