Interesting he wants to spend education funds on a freebie raise for teachers and not to help dig kids out of the enormous academic and social emotional hole they are in.  It’s not like there is no other educational use for the money.

I am not okay with handing out raises after listening to all the Karen’s who learned that having Job in a pandemic is hard.  (Spoiler alert:  everyone knew this. Many of us did it while also proctoring DL for 6 year olds.  Only teachers behaved like toddlers coming down from a sugar high).

Seriously.   I will write letters, emails, raise money, donate and definitely vote on this. The unions have too much power.  And it’s all about the teacher feels and 0.0% about the kids needs   If teachers think DC or MD are so much better, go teach there.

He’s always been a bit clueless, but wow did he pick a terrible time to try to ram raises through.  Pops are still pissed about Kim Adams and vaccines. And NoVA hasn’t opened schools yet. He’s going to make it impossible for Dems to win next year. It’s a deal killer for me.  Teachers getting vaccinated and still griping about going in?  Nope. Not okay. [/quote]
