I know of a salon that does threading on King Street. Its new but they have great reviews on yelp. Its calles Eyebrow Express.
I tried Eyebrow Express on Saturday. They weren't the best out there (I've had my best luck at Red Door Pentagon Row), but they were fine. Courteous, fast, inexpensive. And you don't suffer the minor indignity of having your brows threaded in the middle of the mall where just about anyone could walk by midstream. My brows are a bit funny. I must have tried to wax or tweeze them as a young girl because I have a mild bald spot on one side that is very hard to spot unless you are waxing/shaping my brows. Plus they tend to grow long. For a careful wax/shaping that takes this into consideration, I've found the best places "near" Alexandria are Red Door and also Sugar House. Circe Aveda used to do an OK job, but I haven't always been 100% happy with them either.
