In defense of older citizens, I have not had a kid in the DC schools for about thirty years, and it never occurred to me that I should not be contributing my tax dollars to fund the schools, nor have I ever heard that suggestion from any of my contemporaries. How about a deal: I won't condemn all young people because some are asses if you won't condemn all old folks because some of us are also asses.
