Are you the one that recommended the Botanics oil on another thread? I bought it based on your post and I love it! I never thought I would put oil on my face but I noticed my skin becoming a lot more dry in my 30s.
Yes, I think that was me! I was similarly surprised by how much I've liked it and now I'm super hooked. In retrospect, I think I just need to unlearn some stuff about skincare. I learned several years ago that oil is a much better way for me to moisturize the rest of skin. After years of dealing with scaliness on my shins and painfully dry skin in winter, I started using an oil-based cleanser in the shower and then applying oil daily and it's been so much better. But it took me a while to get used to the idea of doing the same on my face because I had acne as a teen and in my 20s and early 30s and was always taught to use oil-free anything and that oil would "clog pores". Now I'm starting to understand that it's really more about balance and that healthy skin can have lots of oil in it. It just has to be the right oil and needs to be balanced.
