PP here. I definitely wonder the same thing. But if you can come to live a baby you don’t even want (which happens to a lot of families) I imagine you can come to love a child you had for the purpose of showing off. And often there are lots of reasons to have a kid and maybe this is just one of many factors.

I think it’s a terrible idea but I’m just hesitant to judge parents, I guess. [/quote]
